double dip chase freedom?

Just wondering if anyone has ever double dipped on the chase freedom (spend 500, get 200 back) credit card. I believe my husband and I were both on the account back 2-3 years ago when we did it. I just filled it out for him today online and I'm wondering if its possible we get the same deal again?? I figured if anyone would know, it would be someone here! Smile

    I had to check my spreadsheet because I can't keep them all straight anymore. Smile Yes, as a matter of fact, AS has triple-dipped the Chase Freedom offer successfully.

    If you were on the same account, one of you was the primary. I would open in the other person's name, which it looks like that is what you have done. It's a good card!

    Yes, I think it was me who opened it last time so I figured I'd try it in his name this time around. It's been at least 2 years so it's worth a try?! Thanks for the info, ladies!Smile

    You are welcome! We have double dipped on Chase Sapphire a few times. I'd go for the Chase offer, but we currently each have a Chase Freedom card. Smile

    But shouldn't you call and ask them that instead of just hoping you'll get the bonus after applying and getting approved? Or would you think that if you're approved, you're eligible for the offer?

    I've been wondering the same thing as I had a chase freedom i cancelled maybe 6 months ago....

    If you click the offer that says you get the bonus, I haven't heard of anyone who didn't get the bonus. Of course it's against the rules, but they link up all your accounts so they could easily track that sort of thing if they wanted to, and they don't.
