Car Payment hits the loan on Friday. 8,271.62! That leaves us with $250 in savings. I know, I'm a crazy person, I just can't stand having savings with all that debt hanging over my head. We have another 1200 slotted for savings coming in this next month, so I'm not too concerned about emergencies (knock on wood!). I'm just so SO SO HAPPY to be down to only 3 debts to my name. This last student loan is going to take a while to knock out. We're in total savings mode now so no additional payments to debt until approx. Aug 2011 (Blech - makes me sad to think we have to wait that long, but I guess a baby makes it all worthwhile :P)
HOORAY!! SO excited for Friday to get here so I can cross the car debt off my list!

I put 150 aside each month to cover my car expenses and the eventual replacement of my current car - so that I'll never (hopefully) be in Car-Debt again.
Have you thought about doing something similar ? Although you have much more on your plate than I do - as I'm a single renter with no children.
