I'm leaving in a few minutes to meet T at the bank and fix our Home Equity Line of Credit. It costs $100 everytime we do it, but each time we're locking in for the life of the loan at the new rate. Since we've started doing this the rates have come down probably about 2 points. I'll post when I get home at what the rate came in as. Unfortunately they didn't let us lock it in the last time we were at the bank. They had to wait for the next pay cycle and then for paperwork to process (which puts us at today). Keep your fingers crossed for 4.75% or below!
